一右重キ品々御褒美於御前被為頂戴は勿論其外之儀も品により縦令御番組之輩たりと
いふとも其身へ御家老中被申渡候儀有之其節拝領物は奏者番中於即席目録
を以相渡之此外御褒美之事は大概奏者番中取扱也
一御褒美金子被下置定左之通

一御番組以上は前々之通銀子に而何枚と申取扱也
一諸役人御普請方御徒之者御鷹匠御馬方御帳付此外年始一統之御目見仕者共へは
金子に而何両或は何百疋と申取扱
一御台所之者小算寄合之者御坊主共諸手代御持組御普請組御先手組町奉行組
奉行組御留守居組御鳥見組郡組御水主組御作事組是等之類江は小粒幾つと申数之取扱
一御旗之者御杉形之者御長柄之者御小人御下男御中間御鵜匠小道具之者御草履取
丸鳥持手木之者鴟之者此類へは銀何拾匁或は何匁と申取扱
一荒子之類は鳥目何貫文或は何百文と申取扱

御褒美を下される事並びに御褒詞について
一、右の重要な品々の御褒美を御前において頂戴されるのは勿論、その外の儀も品により、たとえ御番組の輩であっても、その身へ御家老中が申し渡される儀がある。その節拝領物は奏者番中において即席で目録を以て相渡す。この外の御褒美の事は大概奏者番中の取扱いである。
一、御褒美金子を下し置かれる定めは左の通り

Regarding Rewards and Words of Praise
1. For these important items of rewards to be received before the lord, as well as other matters depending on their nature, even if they are members of the guard units, there are occasions when senior councilors make announcements to them personally. On such occasions, the granted items are delivered through a catalog by the Master of Ceremonies on the spot. Other reward matters are generally handled by the Master of Ceremonies.
1. The regulations for granting reward money are as follows:

On October 14th of Kyōhō 6, year of the ox, regarding the handling when reward money was granted to retainers, new regulations were established, and two written documents were delivered from Okabe Sazen's office to Ōtani Gizaemon【End of small text】
1. For guard units and above, the handling is as before, with silver pieces counted as "how many pieces"
1. For various officials, construction officers, foot soldiers, falconers, stable keepers, account keepers, and others who perform New Year audiences, the handling is with gold pieces as "how many ryō" or "how many hundred hiki"
1. For kitchen staff, small calculation group members, Buddhist monks, various clerks, personal guard units, construction units, advance guard units, town magistrate units, magistrate units, caretaker units, bird watching units, district units, sailor units, construction work units and similar groups, the handling is by counting "how many small pieces"
1. For flag bearers, cedar formation members, long spear bearers, lower servants, male servants, attendants, cormorant masters, small equipment handlers, sandal bearers, round bird carriers, wooden tool handlers, kite handlers and similar groups, the handling is with silver as "how many tens of monme" or "how many monme"
1. For rough laborers and similar types, the handling is with copper coins as "how many kan-mon" or "how many hundred mon"
