越候委細御軍帳掛り別帳に記之
一享和元酉正月廿六日御番改桜井与右衛門役儀出精相勤候付御紋御上下被下置候
一同二戌十月廿日於御座所被仰付之左之通 御奉行
此度大橋下附寄嶋取払格別心底を尽 荒川十右衛門
出精に付御召 御小袖被下置候右於 御前被仰付之
御自分儀今度之格別心底を被尽日々場所 右同人
江も被罷出出精之段大儀之事に候依之為夫却
白銀五枚被下置候且又御自分与力共へ右附寄嶋取
払候に付格別致出精一段之事に候依之別紙之通為御

現代語訳
一、御番組中御供当番皆勤の御褒美は、御家老中が申し渡し、御目録は御用人が渡す。その後、鉄砲之間において一統に御目見がある。
一、延宝元年丑九月、御徒の者で御番御供を久々懈怠なく相勤めた者共へ、御城において御家老中列座し、永見志摩が左の通り申し渡した。
「御番御供を久々懈怠なく相勤め、御機嫌に思し召される候旨、御意を成された」
一、文化五年辰十一月二十六日、大谷丹下から申し聞かされたのは、井原兵左衛門の息子源兵衛について、明日二十七日に御用の儀があるため、五時に御座所へ罷り出るべき旨を申し通すよう言われたので、左の通り申し達した。
「御用の儀があるため、明日二十七日御座所へ五時に罷り出るべき旨、大谷丹下殿が申し聞かされたので、そのように心得るべきである。以上 十一月二十六日 井原源兵衛殿 佐々木藤左衛門」
右は御軍帳について御褒詞の上、御目録を下された。
但し昨年は奉書半切に認めて遣わした事。
一、弘化三年午年十二月二十八日、右同様御褒詞の節から御評議の上、井原源兵衛へ前日御切紙が参る節、孫司馬之助を召し連れて登城致すべき旨を御用番から申し参ったので決まったため、御目付からは申し越さなかった。委細は御軍帳掛り別帳に記した。
一、享和元年酉正月二十六日、御番改桜井与右衛門が役儀を出精相勤めたので、御紋御上下を下し置かれた。
一、同二年戌十月二十日、御座所において仰せ付けられた左の通り 御奉行
「この度大橋下付寄嶋取払いに格別心底を尽くし 荒川十右衛門
出精につき、御召御小袖を下し置かれた。右は御前において仰せ付けられた」
「御自分の儀、今度の格別心底を尽くし、日々場所 右同人
へも罷り出て出精の段、大儀の事である。これにより、そのため
白銀五枚を下し置かれた。かつまた御自分与力共へ、右付寄嶋取
払いにつき格別に出精致し、一段の事である。これにより別紙の通り
御褒美として下し置かれた。その段申し渡すべきである」

1. For perfect attendance rewards for guard units during escort duty shifts, the senior councilors make the announcement, and the steward delivers the catalog. Afterwards, there is a general audience in the Teppo-no-ma (Gun Room).
1. In the 9th month of Enpō 1, year of the ox, for foot soldiers who had diligently performed guard and escort duties without negligence for a long time, with senior councilors assembled at the castle, Nagami Shima conveyed the following:
"Having performed guard and escort duties diligently without negligence for a long time, His Lordship is pleased and has expressed his satisfaction."
1. On the 26th day of the 11th month of Bunka 5, year of the dragon, what was conveyed by Ōtani Tange was that regarding Ihara Hyōzaemon's son Genbei, there would be official business tomorrow the 27th, so he should appear at the lord's quarters at 5 o'clock. I was told to communicate this, so I conveyed the following:
"There is official business, so tomorrow the 27th you should appear at the lord's quarters at 5 o'clock. Lord Ōtani Tange has conveyed this, so please understand accordingly. The above. 11th month 26th day. Lord Ihara Genbei. Sasaki Tōzaemon"
The above concerns military records, and after words of praise, a catalog was granted.
However, last year it was written on half-cut ceremonial paper.
1. On the 28th day of the 12th month of Kōka 3, year of the horse, similar to the above case of words of praise, after deliberation, when the official notice was sent to Ihara Genbei the day before, it was decided that he should bring his grandson Shiba-no-suke when coming to the castle, as communicated by the duty officer, so the inspector did not convey this separately. Details are recorded in a separate ledger by the military records officer.
1. On the 26th day of the 1st month of Kyōwa 1, year of the rooster, Sakurai Yoemon, guard inspector, diligently performed his duties, so he was granted a crested formal outfit.

"Regarding yourself, for putting exceptional effort into this matter and appearing Right same person
daily at the site and working diligently, this is commendable work. Therefore,
five pieces of white silver are granted. Also, regarding your subordinates, for
putting exceptional effort into removing the said 附寄嶋, this is remarkable work.
Therefore, rewards are granted as listed on the separate paper. This should be conveyed."

In addition to the above, based on Jūemon's report, sake money and other rewards were granted to those who worked diligently in the town and countryside.
