現代語訳
○一、これまで勤務してきた年数が、この度定められた年数に不足している者は、不足分の年数を都合して席次を上げてもらうこと
ただし、代数に関わらず年数によってそれぞれ元の席の末座へ上げてもらうこと
○一、不調法があって席次を下げられた者で、御取立席までの間に下った者は五十年、新番へ下った者は二年の定められた年数をもって、それぞれ元の席の末座へ戻してもらうこと
ただし、代数に関わらず年数によって戻してもらうこと
○一、新番で定められた年数が経った者は、現身は御取立現身の末座、二代は御取立二代の末座、三代は御取立三代の末座へそれぞれ上げてもらうこと

○ Article 1: For those whose years of service to date fall short of the years stipulated this time, they shall be promoted in rank by making up for the shortfall in years.
However, regardless of generational rank, they shall be promoted to the lowest position of their original rank based on years of service.
○ Article 1: For those who have been demoted due to misconduct, those who have been demoted to within the御取立席 (promotion-eligible positions) shall be restored to the lowest position of their original rank after fifty years, and those demoted to 新番 (new guard) after two years, according to the stipulated number of years.
However, they shall be restored based on years of service regardless of generational rank.
○ Article 1: For those in 新番 who have completed the stipulated number of years, the first generation shall be promoted to the lowest position of 御取立現身 (first-generation promotion-eligible), the second generation to the lowest position of 御取立二代 (second-generation promotion-eligible), and the third generation to the lowest position of 御取立三代 (third-generation promotion-eligible).
However, from the third generation onward, regardless of how many generations, they shall be promoted to the lowest position of the third generation.
