御徒子共被召出候而も親之跡へ御立被成別家へ相成不申様被仰出候
但格別之御評議に而二男を被召出候者は別家に可相成事
一文化二丑三月 御目付へ
御徒子共并御坊主子共被召出候而も別家に相成不申段先年被仰出候此以後御徒御坊主
等に不限都而何れ之向ゟ何れ之向へ被召出追々御擬作等被下置候共別家には不相成筈に候尤
親之跡へ御立被成候歟又は被召出候者之跡を御立被成候歟其節之勤場所勤功等に寄
夫々可被仰付候此段向々へ寄々可被申通候
右之通に相成候に付而は向々ゟ明跡出来候節は繰廻し御人不足之所は御入人等可被仰付候此段役

現代語訳
一、寛政四子年七月二十九日、左の通り仰せ出された。
御徒の子供たちが召し出されても、親の跡へ立てられ、別家となることはないよう仰せ出された。
ただし、格別の御評議により二男を召し出した者は別家となることができる。
一、文化二丑年三月 御目付へ
御徒の子供たち並びに御坊主の子供たちが召し出されても別家とならない段、先年仰せ出された。この以後、御徒・御坊主等に限らず、すべてどの部門からどの部門へ召し出され、追々御擬作等を下し置かれても、別家にはならない筈である。もっとも親の跡へ立てられるか、または召し出された者の跡を立てられるか、その節の勤務場所・勤功等により、それぞれ仰せ付けられる。この段、各部門へ寄々申し通すべきである。
右の通りになったことについては、各部門から明き跡ができた節は繰り回し、御人不足の所は御入人等を仰せ付けられる。この段、役頭は切に心得ているべきこと。

Article 1: On the 29th day of the 7th month of Kansei 4 (1792), the following was proclaimed:
Even when children of foot soldiers (ashigaru) are summoned to service, they shall succeed to their father's position and shall not establish separate households, as proclaimed.
However, second sons summoned through special deliberation may establish separate households.
Article 1: 3rd month of Bunka 2 (1805) To the Inspector:
It was previously proclaimed that children of foot soldiers and temple servants (bozu), even when summoned to service, shall not establish separate households. Hereafter, not limited to foot soldiers and temple servants, but for all personnel summoned from any department to any department, even when gradually granted provisional appointments, they shall not establish separate households. Of course, whether they succeed to their father's position or succeed to the position of the one who summoned them shall be determined based on their workplace and meritorious service at that time. This matter shall be communicated to each department as appropriate.
Given this arrangement, when vacancies occur in various departments, personnel shall be rotated, and for understaffed areas, new appointments shall be made. Department heads must keep this matter firmly in mind.

Article 1: On the 28th day of the 12th month of Bunsei 13 (1826), the following was communicated to Magistrate Hagiwara Chobei by separate document:
Summoned as temple servant to the Accounting Office Magistrate Nara Sukeemon's unit
Granted three-person stipend Ichihashi Mohei, son Bunki
However, hereafter shall not establish separate household but succeed to father's position【Red ink】Tempo 3 (1831): Upon father's death from illness, entered successor unit
Article 1: On the 20th day of the 4th month of Tempo 13 (1842), regarding the distinction between being summoned as temple servant and being employed, the following was proclaimed:
Sons of temple servants with three-person stipend who were employed have now had their title changed and been granted summons to service.
However, those summoned and employed shall be seated in order of years of service as previously proclaimed.
