一、享保七年寅年八月五日、御奉行千本藤左衛門に加えて御代官中村又兵衛の件について。又兵衛は今まで品ヶ瀬領の困難な所の支配を務め、人材登用等もよく行っていたため、去年東郷領の仮支配も仰せ付けられ、これもまた首尾よく勤めたので、当年も直接仮支配を勤めた。その上今度殿下領の御所務が大分支障をきたしているため、大変ではあるが品ヶ瀬との所替えを仰せ付けられた。次々と困難な所々を仰せ付けられるため、所替えの件は御家老中が申し渡した。
御用番留
一、元文元年辰年十月十五日、大御番頭皆川多左衛門が御留守居を仰せ付けられ、大御番組味岡彦太夫が郡奉行を仰せ付けられた。右は御前において御直々に仰せ付けられた。ただし彦太夫は多左衛門の番組に属していたため、昨晩多左衛門方へ相談し、今朝同道で出仕した。しかしながら多左衛門が役替えを仰せ付けられたため、番組の御礼には出仕しなかった。
一、享保十五年戌年四月二十四日、御侍たちへの役儀並びに新知・御加増知を下される件について。御使番以上総て番外の分、並びに番組の内でも新知・御加増知を下し置かれる件は御直々に仰せ付けられる。番組の輩への役儀を仰せ付けることは月番の御家老が申し渡すこと。ただし番組の役儀を仰せ付け、新知・御加増知も一緒に下し置かれる節も、役儀は御家老が申し渡し、新知・御加増知を下し置かれる件は御直々に仰せ付けられる。右は御代々右の通りである。右覚書を以って各々伺ったところ、御先格の通り仰せ付けられるべき旨を仰せ出された。
一、弘化三年午年七月九日、御書院番頭松平源太夫が御留守居役を仰せ付けられ、御用人皆川多左衛門が御書院番頭を仰せ付けられ、御書院番組加賀九郎右衛門が御目付役を仰せ付けられた。ただし九郎右衛門は源太夫の番組に属しているため今朝同道で出仕したが、源太夫が転役を仰せ付けられたため御礼には出仕せず、多左衛門は源太夫の跡役を仰せ付けられたため出仕し、番組の御礼を申し上げた。

1. On the 5th day of the 8th month of Kyōhō 7, year of the Tiger, regarding daikan Nakamura Matahyōe in addition to bugyō Senbon Tōzaemon. Matahyōe had been administering the difficult territories of Shinagase domain and had performed well in personnel appointments, so last year he was also appointed temporary administrator of Tōgō domain. He performed this duty excellently as well, so this year he continued as direct temporary administrator. Furthermore, since the administrative affairs of the lord's domain have encountered significant difficulties, though it is burdensome, he was ordered to exchange territories with Shinagase. Since he has been successively assigned to difficult territories, the matter of territorial reassignment was communicated by the karō.
Official duty records:
1. On the 15th day of the 10th month of Genbun 1, year of the Dragon, ō-oban-gashira Minagawa Tazaemon was appointed as rusuii, and ō-oban member Ajioka Hikodayū was appointed as gun-bugyō. These appointments were made directly before the lord. However, since Hikodayū belonged to Tazaemon's unit, he consulted with Tazaemon last evening and they attended together this morning. Nevertheless, since Tazaemon received a role change, he did not attend the unit's gratitude ceremony.

On the 24th day of the 4th month of Kyōhō 15, year of the Dog, regarding official duties and grants of new stipends and increased stipends to retainers: For ometsuke and above, all those outside regular units, and even within units when new stipends and increased stipends are granted, these are appointed directly by the lord. Official duties for unit members are communicated by the monthly duty karō. However, even when unit members are appointed to official duties and new stipends and increased stipends are granted together, the official duties are communicated by the karō, while the granting of new and increased stipends is done directly by the lord. This has been the practice through successive generations. When this was inquired about using this memorandum, it was decreed that appointments should follow precedent.
1. On the 9th day of the 7th month of Kōka 3, year of the Horse, shoin-ban-gashira Matsudaira Gentayū was appointed to rusuii-yaku, yōnin Minagawa Tazaemon was appointed shoin-ban-gashira, and shoin-ban member Kaga Kurōuemon was appointed metsuke-yaku. However, since Kurōuemon belonged to Gentayū's unit, he attended together this morning, but since Gentayū received a role transfer, he did not attend the gratitude ceremony. Tazaemon was appointed to Gentayū's successor role, so he attended and expressed the unit's gratitude.
