家督不被仰付以前御扶持方被下置候御法無之義に候へ共右十郎右衛門義忌御免に而御用も相勤候へは御吟味之上此度御扶持方五人ふち被下置候
間其段可申渡之旨」右は芦田図書方於宅被申渡之右之趣河合瀧右衛門へ申渡之
一元禄十三辰九月十一日跡知千五十石無相違被下 御留守居並役養子牧野清兵衛但主殿未期書付調置所持仕候唐金大筒鉄砲差上度旨死去之書付一所に当七月四日差出其段も江戸へ
申上候処主殿格之者遺物指上候例も無之儀に付御取上ケ無之旨其段取次多賀谷権太夫へ申聞右之書付は相返し」同年十一月五日清兵衛寄合に被仰付座水谷織部

旨仰せ出されました 以上
一、享和元年二月十三日、寄合牧野源蔵は先達て（去る二日）家督を仰せ付けられましたので、御城下出火の節は漆御門外へ詰めるよう申し達すべきかと御家老中へ伺いの上、その段を源蔵へ申し達しました
ただし右源蔵の儀、家督を仰せ付けられた際に指物絵形を差し出すようその節申し達したところ、養父の指物をそのまま相用する旨、且つまた席入れ替えの儀を絵奉行都築三郎右衛門へ相達しました
一、宝暦四年十二月五日、有賀十次郎は左の通り仰せ付けられました

一、享和元年六月十一日、新御番佐々木孫十郎の病中の願いの通り、筧弥三右衛門三男勝蔵の儀を養子に仰せ付け、小役人席に仰せ付け、御擬作十五石三人扶持を下され置かれました。その訳は左の通り
十年以前御取り立て 孫十郎の父（実父であろう） 佐々木武太夫
三年相勤めて相果てる 同人の養父の実兄か 佐々木惣九郎

三代が代わり勤める間もないにつき、この度跡式を

御書付
勝田弥太八の養父門蔵の儀は御取り立ての者ですので、先年仰せ出された御書付の趣旨があることですから小役人格に仰せ付けられるべき儀ですが、門蔵の儀は御徒目付役も相勤め勤功の者ですので御吟味の上新番入りを仰せ付けられる旨
右は兼ねて弥太八の儀、跡式を仰せ付けられる節小役人格に仰せ付けられても迷惑至極の道理を御家老中へ申し達し置いたところ、このように仰せ付けられたことです
一、同年十月二十一日、御留守番組三村又作の跡目息子新八に思し召しがあり、御擬作の内五石を減らされ十五石三人扶持小役人格を仰せ付けられました。右につき新八が遠慮を伺ったところ指し控えを仰せ付けられました
一、寛延二年四月二十六日、東郷仁右衛門が田辺五太夫へ「この度京都河村郷右衛門が病死し、息子十郎右衛門が忌中に罷り在るところ御用があるにつき忌み御免を成し御用を相勤め申しました。もっとも家督を仰せ付けられる以前に御扶持方を下され置かれる御法はない儀ですが、右十郎右衛門の儀は忌み御免にて御用も相勤めましたので御吟味の上この度御扶持方五人扶持を下され置かれましたので、その段申し渡すべき旨」右は芦田図書方の宅にて仰せ渡され、右の趣を河合瀧右衛門へ申し渡しました
一、元禄十三年九月十一日、跡知千五十石相違なく下され 御留守居並役養子牧野清兵衛。ただし主殿の未期書付を調べ置き所持していた唐金大筒鉄砲を差し上げたい旨、死去の書付と一所に当年七月四日差し出し、その段も江戸へ申し上げたところ、主殿格の者の遺物を指し上げる例もない儀につき御取り上げなしの旨、その段を取次多賀谷権太夫へ申し聞かせ右の書付は返されました。同年十一月五日清兵衛を寄合に仰せ付け座を水谷織部の上に仰せ出されました。ただし引き渡しへ入るべきか入らざるべきかの儀は来年御極めを遊ばされ下されるか。右この度家督をよく仰せ付けられ早速相応の御奉公を相勤めたい旨、親主殿と同役多賀谷権太夫へ書付を差し出し、その段相達しにつき江戸へ申し上げ座列の儀も相伺ったところ、右の通り仰せ出された旨
一、宝永七年十月十三日、御城代役酒井与惣兵衛の跡知千五百五十石の内、弟久嶋惣右衛門へ千三百五十石を下されました。ただしこれまで御触頭を相勤め自分知三百石を下されていたところ、右の自分知は召し上げられました

1. Kyōwa 1, 2nd month, 13th day: Regarding Yoriai Makino Genzō, who was granted succession the other day (on the 2nd), it was inquired of the senior councilors whether he should be ordered to report to outside Urushi Gate during fires in the castle town, and this matter was conveyed to Genzō.
Note: When Genzō was granted succession, he was ordered to submit design drawings for his standard, but he stated he would use his adoptive father's standard as is. The matter of seating rearrangement was conveyed to Painting Magistrate Tsudzuki Saburōemon.
1. Hōreki 4, 12th month, 5th day: Ariga Jūjirō was appointed as follows:
20-man stipend allowance Ariga Ichirōemon, age 39
Died of illness on 9th month, 14th day
During parent's mourning period Eldest son Jūnosuke, age 20

1. Kyōwa 1, 6th month, 11th day: As petitioned during illness by New Guard Sasaki Magojūrō, Kakehi Yasaemon's third son Katsuzō was made adoptive son, appointed to minor official rank, and granted fictitious stipend of 15 koku 3-man allowance. The circumstances are as follows:
Promoted 10 years ago Magojūrō's father (likely natural father) Sasaki Budayū
Served 3 years then died Same person's adoptive father's brother Sasaki Sōkurō
Though he took adult hairstyle at age 17 this year Sasaki Magojūrō
Died of illness before serving as attendant
For such newly established families promoted within 11 years His adoptive son Sasaki Katsuzō
where three generations changed with barely time to serve,
succession was demoted to minor official rank this time.
This differs from families of longstanding lineage.

His adoptive father Monzō's succession of 18 koku stipend rice and 3-man allowance granted unchanged, to be placed in New Guard unit.

Since Katsuda Yatahachi's adoptive father Monzō was a promoted person, according to previously issued documents he should be appointed to minor official rank, but since Monzō also served as foot-soldier inspector and was meritorious, after investigation he was appointed to New Guard.
This was because the extreme hardship of appointing Yatahachi to minor official rank at succession had been previously conveyed to the senior councilors, resulting in this appointment.
1. Same year, 10th month, 21st day: Castle Guard Mimura Matasaku's successor son Shinhachi was granted special consideration, reduced by 5 koku from his fictitious stipend to 15 koku 3-man allowance, and appointed to minor official rank. Regarding this, when Shinhachi inquired about self-restraint, he was ordered to refrain from duties.

Kan'en 2, 4th month, 26th day: Tōgō Niemon to Tanabe Gotadayū: "Recently Kyoto's Kawamura Gōemon died of illness, and his son Jūrōemon was in mourning when official duties arose, so mourning was lifted and he performed official duties. Normally there is no precedent for granting stipend allowance before succession is decreed, but since Jūrōemon had mourning lifted and performed official duties, after investigation he was granted 5-man stipend allowance this time, which should be conveyed." This was conveyed at Ashida Zusho's residence, and the matter was conveyed to Kawai Takiemon.
1. Genroku 13, 9th month, 11th day: Successor territory of 1,050 koku granted unchanged to Castle Keeper Assistant adoptive son Makino Seibei. However, he possessed bronze cannon and firearms from Tonomo's posthumous documents and wished to present them. This was submitted together with death notification on 7th month, 4th day of this year and reported to Edo, but since there was no precedent for those of Tonomo rank to present relics, they were not accepted. This was conveyed to intermediary Tagaya Gondayū and the document returned. On 11th month, 5th day of the same year, Seibei was appointed to Yoriai with seating above Mizutani Oribu. However, whether he should enter the succession process would be decided next year. Since succession was well granted this time, he wished to promptly perform appropriate service, submitting a document to his late father Tonomo's colleague Tagaya Gondayū. When this was reported to Edo and seating arrangements inquired about, the above was decreed.
1. Hōei 7, 10th month, 13th day: From Castle Deputy Sakai Yosōbei's successor territory of 1,550 koku, 1,350 koku was granted to his brother Kushima Sōemon. However, the 300 koku personal territory previously granted for serving as notification head was confiscated.
200 koku divided territory was granted to Sakai Uemon's brother Yosōbei's nephew Sakai Ukura.
