久嶋惣右衛門へ申し渡す覚え
酒井与惣兵衛の末期に同姓右蔵の養子願いを書付口上書をもって申し上げました。その方の儀は拝知を仰せ付けられ御奉公も相勤め罷り在る者の儀故、右蔵が願い申し上げた由をお聞き召し届けられましたが、外に存じ知る者もないことですので例もある儀につき、その方へ与惣兵衛の家督を仰せ付け、拝知千三百五十石を下され置かれます。右蔵の儀は分知二百石を下されます。以上 十月十三日

Memorandum to be conveyed to Kushima Sōemon
At the deathbed of Sakai Yosōbei, a petition for adoption of his relative Ukura was submitted through written petition and oral statement. Since you have been granted territory and are serving loyally, the petition made by Ukura was heard and acknowledged, but as there are no others with knowledge of the matter and there is precedent for such cases, you are granted succession to Yosōbei's house and awarded 1,350 koku territory. Ukura is granted 200 koku divided territory. The above on the 13th day of the 10th month.
Memorandum to be conveyed to Sakai Ukura
A petition for adoption was submitted at the deathbed of your relative Yosōbei through written petition and oral statement. Be aware that since Kushima Sōemon has been granted territory and is serving loyally, the petition you jointly made for adoption was heard and acknowledged, but as there are no others with knowledge of the matter and there is precedent for such cases, Yosōbei's succession is granted to Sōemon, and you are granted 200 koku divided territory. The above on the 13th day of the 10th month.
