現代語訳

ここにまた化け物仲間においては、先だってより色々と道楽師を訪ねていたが、人の住処は化け物には分からず、どういうわけか行方知れずになってしまったため、狸や狐などを使いの者として諸国の化け物仲間へも、詳しく問い合わせの書状を持たせて尋ねることにした。
