現代語訳

さて三つ目入道は父である御輿入道を隠居させ、化け物の総頭として崇められ、向こう川の大広袖に鉄の棒という身なりで、お子様方にも恐れられ、長く栄えたことは、めでたいことである。

「大権現より授かったこの目の光で、顔も姿もとんでもなく大きく見えるわい。嬉しいことよ」

Now, Mitsume Nyudo (Three-eyed Monk) made his father Mikoshi Nyudo retire and was revered as the supreme head of monsters. With his appearance of wide sleeves and iron staff at the opposite riverbank, he was feared even by children, and prospered for a long time - truly auspicious.

"With the light of this eye bestowed by the Great Gongen, my face and form appear tremendously large. How delightful!"
