一此｜崩（くづれ）の義は鹿島太神の御夢想（ごむそう）にして一とたび焚震（もしゆる）ときは
三十六ヶ所灰となり震動（しんどう）は四里四方家蔵をくづし野宿（のじく）
するといへどものちは識事（しよくじ）すゝみて日銭まはり遊女（ゆうじよ）仮宅（かりたく）に
住ではんじやうし内福より金銀をはき下し下〻のうるほひを
つけいかなるなんじうにても五場所に御｜救（すくひ）小屋をたてられやしなふ
なり世の中治すること震（しん）のごとし

『地震妙薬』下徳参（げとくさん）『一潰八百八丁』
一、この崩れの意味は鹿島大神のお告げであり、一度火災が起これば三十六か所が灰となり、震動は四里四方の家蔵を崩し、野宿することになるが、その後は商売が活発になって日銭が回り、遊女は仮の住まいに住んで繁盛し、金持ちから金銀を吐き出させて下々の潤いをつけ、どんな難儀な者でも五か所に救済小屋を建てられて養われる。世の中を治すことは震災のようなものである。

"Earthquake Wonder Medicine" Getokusan (Lower Virtue Participation) "One Collapse, Eight Hundred and Eight Districts"
1. The meaning of this collapse is a divine revelation from the Great God of Kashima. When fire breaks out once, thirty-six places will turn to ash, and the tremors will destroy houses and storehouses within a four-ri radius, forcing people to sleep outdoors. However, afterward, business will flourish, daily wages will circulate, courtesans will prosper living in temporary housing, gold and silver will be extracted from the wealthy to provide relief to the lower classes, and no matter how destitute, rescue shelters will be built in five locations to care for people. Governing the world is like an earthquake.
