During the Tenshō era, when the Oda clan wished to establish the Nanban Temple and promote Christianity, this likely arose from political machinations aimed at temporary appeasement. However, their poisonous flames so inflamed and deluded the four directions that it became extremely difficult to expel them. After approximately sixty-odd years, the annihilation and slaughter of their faction accomplished the excellent strategy for eternal peace and order. Those evil followers used the pretense of teaching as a means to bind human hearts together, but in reality, it was nothing more than a ruse to plunder the country and seize territory. In recent years, evil followers have entered the capital and, like foxes and demons, deceive people—truly like cold ashes reigniting. How can one not lament deeply?
