一、同日、老中・西尾隠岐守（忠尚）殿よりお渡しの書付が大目付中より以下の通り廻状にて到来した。

　　毎月三日、これまでは献上物等を差し控えていたが、今後は献上物として魚類であっても差し上げてよい。
　　　ただし、十月三日は御祥月（ご命日の月）につき、献上物等は無用とする。
　　　　　十月

一、十月六日、大和守（明矩）様が御在所・姫路にてご病気との知らせがあったため、お見舞いとして、
　御側物頭・太田三郎兵衛（久休）および御匙医師・真下宗円を姫路へ派遣された。
　　　ただし、両人とも道中を急ぎ、四日間で到着するよう仰せ付けられた。

一、同月七日、当夏にご拝領の御鷹を、若年寄・板倉佐渡守（勝清）殿においてお渡しがあった。

一、同月八日、大目付中より松平大隅守（■豊）殿の留守居へお渡しの書付、同所にて――

Item: On the same day, a circular document (廻状) was received from the Senior Inspectors (大目付), conveying a written notice originally issued by Senior Councilor (老中) Nishio Oki-no-kami (Tadanao):

　　On the third day of each month, offerings and gifts have until now been refrained from, but henceforth offerings — even fish — may be presented.
　　　Note: On the third day of the tenth month, as it falls within the memorial month (御祥月), offerings and gifts are unnecessary.

Item: On the sixth day of the tenth month, word arrived that Lord Yamato-no-kami (Akinori) was ill at his domain residence in Himeji. As a visit of inquiry:
　Otomo-monogashira (Side Commander) Ōta Saburōbei (Kyūkyū) and the personal physician (御匙医師) Mashimo Sōen were dispatched to Himeji.
　　　Note: Both men were ordered to hasten their journey and arrive within four days.

Item: On the seventh day of the same month, the hawk granted as a gift during the past summer was formally handed over at the residence of Junior Councilor (若年寄) Itakura Sado-no-kami (Katsukiyo).

Item: On the eighth day of the same month, a written notice was delivered by the Senior Inspectors (大目付) to the Rusui (caretaker official) of Lord Matsudaira Ōsumi-no-kami (■Toyo), at the same location —
