【留守居からの廻達】
留守居より以下の通り廻達があった。
此度、御判物・御朱印を頂戴する節、各々の留守居は蘇鉄の間に溜まって待機するはずであるから、主人より御判物を受け取り済みの控えとなっている大名が退散し終わった後、案内があり次第、十人程ずつ御玄関より退散するようにすること。
一、右の御判物を入れた長持・狭箱等は、中御門の外に差し置くはずであること。
右の通り心得、混み合わないよう退散すること。なお、御同席へもご通達あるべきこと。
十月
一、十月十一日、御用番・堀田相模守（正亮）殿へ、御留守居・大谷一右衛門（良次）が罷り出たところ、昨日御同所より申し来た左の通りの御書付を相渡された。

**Circular Notice from the Rusui (Caretaker Officials)**
The following circular notice was issued by the Rusui:
On this occasion of receiving the honorable written decrees (御判物) and vermilion-seal documents (御朱印), each domain's Rusui is to wait and gather in the Sotetsu-no-ma (Cycad Room). After the daimyo lords who have already received their decrees from their principals have all departed, the Rusui shall exit through the main entrance (御玄関) in groups of approximately ten, as guided.
Item: The long chests (長持) and narrow boxes (狭箱) containing the said written decrees are to be placed outside the Naka-no-mon (Middle Gate).
The above is to be understood accordingly, and all are to depart without causing congestion. Furthermore, this notice is to be communicated to those present at the same assembly.
Tenth month
Item: On the eleventh day of the tenth month, the domain's Rusui, Ōtani Ichiemon (Yoshitsugu), called upon the Duty Councilor (御用番), Hotta Sagami-no-kami (Masasuke). He received the following written notice, which had been sent from the same office the previous day:

As there is official business, one representative (名代) in formal attire of noshi-me and half-hakama (熨斗目半袴) is to present himself at the castle at the hour of five-and-a-half (approximately 9:00 a.m.) tomorrow. Furthermore, a written document identifying the representative is to be submitted.
Eleventh day, tenth month
Item: On the same day, in accordance with the above, the written document naming the representative was brought and submitted by the Rusui, Ōtani Ichiemon (Yoshitsugu), to the Duty Councilor, Hotta Sagami-no-kami (Masasuke).
