　　　　　但し、出羽守様へお頼みしたところ御不快につき、右のお頼みとなった。

一、同日、右同断につき、近江守（近明）様へ御使者として御家老・酒井玄蕃（知喬）が罷り出たところ、近江守様は今朝御登城なさったところ御気分がすぐれなかったため、明日、御名代の儀はお断りになる旨をお申し聞かせになった。

一、同日、右同断につき、藤堂和泉守（高豊）殿へ御名代をお頼みするため、御使者として御家老・酒井玄蕃（知喬）が、御留守居・大谷一右衛門と同道して罷り出たところ、和泉守殿がご承知なさった旨を、家老・藤堂隼人をもってお申し聞かせになった。

一、同日、右同断につき、御届けのため、御用番・堀田相模守（正亮）殿へ、御留守居・鱸九郎右衛門（重武）が以下の書付を持参して差し出した。

Item: On the same day, in connection with the above, Senior Retainer (家老) Sakai Genba (Tomotaka) went as a messenger to Ōmi-no-kami (Chikamei). However, Ōmi-no-kami had attended the castle that morning and was not feeling well as a result, and therefore declined to serve as representative (名代) the following day.

Item: On the same day, in connection with the above, Senior Retainer Sakai Genba (Tomotaka), accompanied by Rusui (caretaker official) Ōtani Ichiemon, went as a messenger to request Tōdō Izumi-no-kami (Takatoyo) to serve as representative. They were informed through Tōdō's retainer Hayato that Izumi-no-kami had accepted the request.

Item: On the same day, in connection with the above, Rusui Suzuki Kurōemon (Shigetake) personally carried and submitted to Duty Councilor Hotta Sagami-no-kami (Masasuke) the following written notice as formal notification:
