一地震出火ニ付寺院ゟ門前町屋并隣町其外え
　米銭施又は地代当分之内用捨致シ取立不申
　右米銭員数并門前表裏共施貰受候人数

一、地震出火につき、寺院から門前町屋並びに隣町その外へ
米銭施し、または地代当分の内用捨いたし、取立て申さず
右米銭員数並びに門前表裏共に施しもらい受けた人数
月日外三ヶ条、私共組合限り入念に取り調べたところ、右の体
寺院から施し等受けた者は御座なく、これにより申し上げ奉ります。以上

英語訳

1. Regarding the earthquake and fire, [we investigated] temples providing rice and money as charitable aid to shop houses in front of temple gates, neighboring towns, and other areas, or temples forgiving land rent for the time being and not collecting it.

[We investigated] the amount of the aforementioned rice and money, as well as the number of people who received charitable aid both in front and behind the temple gates, dates, and three other items. We conducted a thorough investigation limited to our neighborhood association, and found that there were no persons who received charitable aid from temples as described above. We hereby respectfully report this. That is all.
