《Marginal note: The right lower official takes the upper seat on the north side》This is the divine offering feast (narai). Of course, the shrine priest and both lower officials do not use dining tables, but sit upon three-legged offering stands《Marginal note: The items for the feast include two sets of chopsticks, plus a small portion of morning and evening sacred rice placed in earthenware vessels for three servings each, and two portions of sacred vegetables from the outer shrine's high offerings placed in small earthenware vessels, which the administrator has the shrine attendant (tonegi) arrange》
《Marginal note: In addition to the divine offerings, five pieces of dried cod and five pieces of seaweed are each placed on small stands and set on wooden boards, along with sake cups and earthenware vessels for three servings, which the deputy official has the shrine attendant arrange and set up, with everyone taking their designated seats》
《Marginal note: Afterwards, the shrine attendant announces the sacred chopsticks, then the feast, then the small ceremonial implements, then passes sake decanters in two branches to left and right for five offerings, then passes rice cakes wrapped in cypress bark and reed wrapping. The assistant priest brings these items. Of course, the shrine priest and both lower officials receive both types, while the others receive only the cypress bark-wrapped rice cakes》The shrine attendant announces the completion of the distribution and everyone withdraws.

Regarding the records of the right lower official's duties, although many predecessors have recorded much, they did not write in detail. Therefore, I have further researched and compiled this for the convenient reference of future generations. Consequently, this should be strictly kept from the view of others outside our fellowship.
