The First Epistle of John
That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our own eyes and gazed upon, that which we have touched with our own hands - concerning the Word of life. The life was revealed, and we have seen and bear witness and proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the heavenly Father and was revealed to us. What we have seen and heard, we proclaim to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the heavenly Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. We write these things to you so that you may rejoice completely. The message we have heard we proclaim to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while walking in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. If He is in the light
