におられるように、私たちも光の中を歩むならば、私たちは互いに交わりを持ち、御子イエス・キリストの血によって私たちのすべての罪が清められる。私たちに罪がないと言うならば、私たちは自分自身を欺いており、真理は私たちの内にない。私たちが罪を告白するならば、その方は誠実で正しく、私たちの罪を赦し、すべての不義から私たちを清めてくださる。ただし、私たちに罪がないと言うなら、その方を偽り者とすることになり、その方の言葉は私たちの内にない。

as He is in the light, if we walk in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However, if we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
