- Regarding persons of lower rank (*kaishita*): rather than using a lottery, a suitable person is to be selected from among the current *daikan* (shrine administrators), and Kanetaka is to make this arrangement.
- On the thirteenth day of the first month, at the time of the *kagogumi* (basket assembly), twelve baskets in total (six of 5-*sun* size and six of 6-*sun* size) are to be provided: those from Kawakamigō and Nakamuragō are to be furnished by the *gōshi* (village official), while those from Ōmiya, Oyama, and Okamoto are to be brought by the *kozukai* (errand attendants). At that time, the *jinin* (shrine servants) of each respective village are to be instructed to receive them.
- On the fourteenth day of the same month, at the *chōya* (administrative hall), 52 *jō* (bound volumes) of *usuyō* (thin ceremonial paper) — comprising 12 *jō* of blue, 25 *jō* of red, and 15 *jō* of yellow — are to be received. The *bettō dayu* (senior administrator) is to receive them from the *bettō* (administrator) of the *Gofukusho* (Sacred Garments Office) and then hand them over to the *daikan* (administrators).
Regarding the above, the instruction that this procedure should be conveyed to the current *daikan* at the time of the box-transfer ceremony was previously communicated by the *rōjakuchū* (council of senior and junior members) of Kanetaka.
- Concerning the offering of eggplants (*nasu*) at this year's *Ainamesai* (harvest tasting ceremony): each person had been keeping them in storage, but apparently because this year had an intercalary tenth month (*urū jūgatsu*), the eggplants had rotted. Therefore, at the monthly assembly (*tsukishiro sankai*) on the seventh day, the eggplants were brought and shown to the *sadanin* (deliberating officials), who then presented them at the assembly. It was noted that the *Ujitsu* household had five salt-cured eggplants (*shiozuke*), and the question was raised as to whether those salt-cured ones might be offered instead. Upon this proposal being presented, it was immediately decided that the salt-cured eggplants should indeed be offered. Accordingly, this year, the five salt-cured eggplants prepared by the *Ujitsu* household were duly offered.
- In a prior year when there was also an intercalary month, there were instances where [the eggplants] turned yellow, and at that time... *(continues on the next page)*
