英語訳

This matter is to be instructed to Gorō Tarō. The Eighth Day Item: If today is rainy, the shōzoku-age (carrying up of ceremonial robes) shall be conducted on the ninth day. The Ninth Day Item: As on the third day, the chōya (administrative building) is to be opened, with two shōzoku-bugyō (ceremonial robe administrators) and five daikan (administrative deputies) in attendance. The bell of the Jingūji (shrine temple) is to be rung by laborers (bu/ninpu) to signal the time, and the kannagi (head priests), ryō-kaika (officials of both lower ranks), bettō (chief administrator), azukari (custodians), shoshi (shrine functionaries), mokudai (deputy officials), onmyōji (yin-yang masters; those of the Taguchi house are to be included within the kannagi's group), and the nori-jiri (riders) of the first and fifth days, and others are to present their prepared ceremonial robes (though all except the kannagi are to bring them personally). The shōzoku-bugyō and daikan shall inspect each item one by one, receive them, store them, place them into boxes and long chests (nagabitsu), affix the seals of both the shōzoku-bugyō and daikan as before, store them in the Takakura (storehouse), and then withdraw. Item: The ōdaiko (large drum) and shōko (bronze gong) are to be stored by the daikan, and the tatami of the Takakura likewise (handled in the same manner). Item: Even if approximately one person fails to attend today due to illness (shōrō), there is precedent for this. Before the Bon Festival Item: The accounting (sanyō) of expenses (iriyō) for this fourth month's Osarае-matsuri (the Renewal/Purification Festival) and the Kurabeuma (horse racing ritual) is to be carried out. The Second Day of the Ninth Month Item: This evening, all parties are to gather at the Funkyōtei (a named pavilion/meeting place), to discuss the necessary items (iriyō no shinamono) for the coming eighth and ninth days (of the ninth month).
