荷物の受け取りや製法などを手抜きなく行い、販売を広げて商売をしていくことが専一（最重要）と存じます。これに付きましては下地（基本）の約束書を作成してございましたが、取り消し印を押してございます。右のあれこれの運びについては徳兵衛方へは話し合いをしておりますが、これまで万事御願いの件は徳兵衛方から御願い申し上げることになっておりますため、私の手元から御願い申し上げることは延引（遅延）いたしました段、恐れ入り迷惑をおかけいたします。

I believe it is of utmost importance to handle the receipt of goods and manufacturing processes without cutting corners, and to expand sales in conducting business. Regarding this matter, we had prepared a basic written agreement, but it has been marked with a cancellation seal. Concerning the handling of these various matters, while I have discussed them with Tokubei's establishment, since all petitions have customarily been submitted by Tokubei's side, the delay in submitting this petition from my end is regrettable and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
