虎ゟ梅辻美濃守方へ到来之由ニ而兼而奉
行所へも大総之儀一社ニハ所持不仕候得共七家
社司之内ニ致所持候者有之故用申度旨相

一、倭文庄の馬について、御所司がまだ上京していないため、一社の沙汰として出すことになった。飾り等以下は例の通り調達し、鞍も金梨地とする。一匁は紹久の所持するもの、一つは社中にあるものを飾りとする。大総については、松平豊後守殿が逝去した後、山本嘉内清虎から梅辻美濃守方へ到来したということで、かねてより奉行所へも「大総の件については一社では所持していませんが、七家社司の内に所持している者がいるので使用したい」旨を願い出たところ、「七家社司の内でどのように所持しているのか」との問い合わせがあった。

Regarding the Horse Racing on the First and Fifth Days of the Fifth Month
Hōreki 2nd year (1752)

1. Regarding the horses from Shidori-shō, since the goshoshi (shrine administrator) has not yet come to Kyoto, this matter was handled as a decision of one shrine. The decorations and other items were prepared as usual, with gold nashiji lacquer saddles. One monme worth belongs to Shōkyū, and one set is owned by the shrine for decoration. Concerning the large horse trappings (ōbusa), after the death of Lord Matsudaira Bungo-no-kami, they came from Yamamoto Kanai Seiko to Umetsuji Mino-no-kami. We had previously petitioned the magistrate's office, stating "Regarding the large horse trappings, while our single shrine does not possess them, there are those among the seven family shrine administrators who do possess them, so we would like to use them." In response, there was an inquiry asking "How exactly are they possessed among the seven family shrine administrators?"
