との問い合わせに対して、梅辻美濃守という者が「松平豊後守様から拝領した」旨を申し出たところ、「それならば穢れはないか」との問い合わせがあったため、「全く穢れの件はない」旨を申し上げたところ、「それでは勝手にするがよい」旨を申し渡されました。そのため例の通りに飾りを調達し、龓（騎手）も白丁四人ずつ出すことになりました。馬主は竹ノ又右衛門、替馬は梅ノ太郎左衛門です。
一、五月朔日、貴船祢宜の宜博久が転補で片岡祝となり、責布祢祝の業久が転補で同祢宜となることの勅許があった旨、夕方に申し渡されました。この転補があったものの、出馬については そのまま朔日の毛付（組み合わせ）の通りで、貴船祢宜博久に三番の馬を繋ぎ、転任後は片岡祝博久と庄付（名目）を替えるだけで、馬はそのまま三番です。業久の馬も代官の馬も右の通りで、庄付を替えるだけで馬は毛付の通りです。

In response to this inquiry, a person named Umetsuji Mino-no-kami stated that he had "received it from Lord Matsudaira Bungo-no-kami." When asked "If that is the case, is there no ritual impurity?", he replied "There is absolutely no matter of impurity," whereupon he was told "Then you may do as you wish." Therefore, decorations were prepared as usual, and four hakuchō (attendants) each were assigned as jōryū (riders). The horse owner was Takeno Matauemon, and the substitute horse was provided by Ume no Tarōzaemon.
1. On the first day of the fifth month, Kibune negi Yoshihirohisa was transferred to become Kataoka hafuri, and Semefune hafuri Yoshihisa was transferred to become the same negi, with imperial permission granted. This was announced in the evening. Although this transfer took place, regarding the horse entries, things remained as per the original ketsuke (pairing) for the first day, with the horse tied to Kibune negi Hirohisa for the third race. After the transfer, only the shōtsuke (nominal assignment) would change to Kataoka hafuri Hirohisa, but the horse would remain in the third race. Yoshihisa's horse and the deputy's horse followed the same pattern - only the nominal assignment changed, while the horses remained according to the original pairing.
