一雨降ハ左右共ニ馬場未ヨリ朔日足汰ノコ

　天文十五年午才所司熊千代大夫氏頼代兵

　一番奉り、近年二番背負い、三番打掛け、四番御袖、五番袴、六番食い噛み、七番御身、八番太刀、九番冠

一、埒杭数　東二百二十一本、西二百十九本
《割書：五日に所司別当より歳上になれば所司上になおる事【朱書】》

一、階下着座　五日は別当大夫・所司大夫・目代がなおる。ただし所司大夫は別当より歳上になれば所司が上になおる。弘治三年に近江守所司にて上になおるのである。ただし朔日は別当大夫が西座になおるのである。

一、雨降りは左右共に馬場未より朔日足汰の如く馬を上る。御所屋西の軒にて六がかかるよとあり。
　天文十五年午年、所司熊千代大夫氏頼の代、兵部少輔堯平の時、山本民部丞氏茂異見にて昔もかくの如くありとてこの歳より始まるのである。社務は竹内三位明久卿である。

一、朔日乗尻は御所屋南柱通りは社務へ御礼、西の切芝は所司大夫へ見参披露のためである。礼にてはなし。

一、五日に御馬代われば先ず馬所より禰宜所へ案内あり。また禰宜所方より二十人乗尻と所司へ案内ある。

1. Seating arrangement below the steps: On the 5th day, the betto-dayū, shoshi-dayū, and mokudai take their positions. However, when the shoshi-dayū becomes senior in age to the betto, the shoshi takes the superior position. In Kōji 3rd year (1557), the Ōmi-no-kami as shoshi took the superior position. However, on the 1st day, the betto-dayū takes the western seat.

1. When it rains, both left and right sides bring up horses from the horse grounds as in the preliminary selection on the 1st day. There is a saying that "six hangs" at the western eaves of the imperial pavilion.
In Tenbun 15th year, year of the horse (1546), during the time of shoshi Kumachiyodayū Ujiyori's tenure, when Hyōbu-shōyū Takahira served, Yamamoto Minbu-no-jō Ujishige expressed the opinion that it was thus in ancient times, and this practice began from that year. The shrine administrator was Takeuchi Sanmi Akihisa-kyō.

1. On the 1st day, the riders: those passing through the southern pillars of the imperial pavilion pay respects to the shrine administrator; those at the western cut lawn are for audience and announcement to the shoshi-dayū. This is not a formal ceremony.

1. When the imperial horse is changed on the 5th day, first there is notification from the horse office to the negi office. Also, from the negi office there is notification to the twenty riders and the shoshi.
