而立价ス諸事之勤仕可為最下之由并道中
往合之時可被留脚之由次其方勝負済テ後ニ西
埒黒方之見物所ニ来テ見馬シクハコヲ見ハルヽ
是第一之不法也此二趣急度可有御嗜也ト云々
返答云先之二趣ハ畏而承也後一趣之西埒ヘ出之
義ハ有例ナレハ如何様之品ニテモ不承之由也風聞
ニ是例ト云ルハ鎮顕負之時中飯ニ付テ也似テ不
似一例有之由也扨五日朝参社之路中ゟ再初乗
遣ス其詞云先日之西将ニ而見物之義ヲ今無同心

今度御宿直の内に異なる屈辱があったゆえは、福久が当役に付き不法・不職であることがその理由である。よって乗尻中で評議を諫めて初乗をもって立て替える。諸事の勤仕は最下のこととなすべき由、並びに道中往来の時は脚を留められるべき由。次にその方の勝負が済んだ後に西埒の黒方の見物所に来て見馬やシクハコを見張るのは、これが第一の不法である。この二つの趣旨について急度御嗜みがあるべきであると云々。
返答に言うには「先の二つの趣旨は畏れて承る。後の一つの趣旨の西埒へ出ることについては例があるので、如何様の品でも承らない」由である。風聞にこれが例と言うのは、鎮顕が負けた時の中飯に付いてであり、似て似ざる一例がある由である。さて五日朝の参社の路中より再び初乗を遣わす。その詞に言うには「先日の西将にて見物の義を今は同心なく
