重答テ云其詞如先日差揃之座へ所司此旨披露
也旹ニ席之評云三度之吟味之首尾社中ヘ
披露可然之由会所へ可被訴云々依而会所ヘ申
渡ス旹社司評定兼帯之席へ有披露旹一
社之答ニ折角新乗ヲ可有御請其節其人
無之時ハ無是非老乗尻ニテモ云々兎角古法相
立事肝要也

当年モ如去年乗尻ヨリ頼言シテ馬出之肝煎

現代語訳
重ねて答えて言うには、その詞は「先日差し揃えた座へ所司がこの旨披露した」
ということである。その時に席の評に言うには「三度の吟味の首尾を社中へ
披露するのが然るべき」由を会所へ訴えるべきと云々。よって会所へ申し
渡す時、社司評定兼帯の席へ披露があった時、一
社の答えに「折角新乗を御請けすべきである。その節その人
がない時は是非なく老乗尻でも」云々。とかく古法を相
立てることが肝要である。
延宝三年
当年も去年の如く乗尻より頼み言して馬出の肝煎を
《割書：朔日の肝煎、五日の乗尻方より出す。五日の肝煎、朔日の乗尻より出す事｜》
頼んだ。朔日の埒内の肝煎として評をもって二十人、節供
の乗尻方より出して奉行する。また節供に朔日の乗尻
方より二十人埒内の奉行が出た。また馬場末の抜け群れ
するクラカケの見物人並びに狼藉人等停止の肝煎
四人、則ち朔日乗尻の内四人、庸顕・保合・保知・
氏起である。如何にも入情体と云々。

He answered again, saying that those words meant "The magistrate disclosed this matter to the assembled seat the other day."

disclosed to the shrine community," and this should be appealed to the meeting place, etc. Therefore, when informing
the meeting place, when there was a disclosure to the seat of the shrine magistrate's council concurrent position,
the answer from the shrine was "By all means, new riders should be accepted. When there are no such people
at that time, veteran jockeys would be unavoidable," etc. In any case, upholding the ancient laws
is essential.
Enpō 3rd year (1675)
This year also, like last year, the jockeys made requests and asked for horse-exit supervisors.

They requested supervisors within the barriers of the 1st day, and through evaluation, twenty people from the festival
jockeys were sent out to serve as magistrates. Also, for the festival, twenty people from the 1st day jockey
group came out as magistrates within the barriers. Also, the supervisors to stop
the spectators of the Kurakake who break away in groups at the end of the horse grounds, as well as the troublemakers,
were four people, namely four from among the 1st day jockeys: Yōken, Yasumasa, Yasutomo, and
Ujioki. It was indeed a heartfelt situation, etc.
