　玄光院様御宮参之節御跡乗被

一、同十一寅年二月
玄光院様御宮参りの節、御跡乗りを仰せ付けられ候事

一、同年九月、勤番として江戸表へ罷り登り、御前において裏付き御上下を下し置かれ、玄光院様御病中に心を尽くして相勤め、昨冬より御用が繁多に候えども精を出して相勤め候段、ありがたき御意の上、定例の通り御小袖を下し置かれ罷り下り候事

一、同十三辰年正月、この間一人にて相勤め骨折り候由、御意の上、御紋御羽織を御直に下し置かれ候事

一、同年四月、勤番として江戸表へ罷り登り、御座之間へお召しになられ御上下を下し置かれ、病気につき願いの上、同八月罷り下り候事

一、同年十月、牧原只右衛門罷り下り候節、気色まで御尋ね下され、御懇ろなる御意を賜り候事

一、同十四巳年六月、西郷源蔵跡屋敷を御振替え下し置かれ候事

英語訳

First, in the 11th year of Genroku, 2nd month (1698): He was appointed to serve as rear escort during Genkōin-sama's shrine visit.

First, in the 9th month of the same year: He went up to Edo for duty rotation. He was granted a lined formal court dress in the lord's presence. During Genkōin-sama's illness, he served with dedication, and although duties had been numerous since last winter, he worked diligently. In recognition of this, he received gracious words and was granted a kosode as per custom before returning.

First, in the 13th year of Genroku, 1st month (1700): For having worked hard alone during this period, he received gracious words and was directly granted a haori bearing the lord's crest.

First, in the 4th month of the same year: He went up to Edo for duty rotation and was summoned to the audience chamber where he was granted formal court dress. Due to illness, he petitioned and returned in the 8th month of the same year.

First, in the 10th month of the same year: When Makihara Tadaemon returned, the lord inquired even about his condition and bestowed kind words upon him.

First, in the 14th year of Genroku, 6th month (1701): He was granted the former residence of Saigō Genzō in exchange.
