〽遠（とほ）からんものは音（おと）にもきけ
お客（きやく）はよつてめにもみじめな
ものずきは今龍（いまりう）こし【う？】の素人（しろうと）出立（でたち）
今宵（こよひ）くるわの大門（おほもん）をたをせば
たちまち極悪（ごくあく）丁度五丁（てうどごちやう）に火事（くわじ）の燃（もへ）わたり

〽かくのごとくのもへたちは絶（たへ）なるみ声音（こゑおん）せいはまごつく
女郎（ぢよらう）あまたなり今（いま）やけかゝる仲（なか）の丁｜火（ひ）の手（て）いろます

お客よ、寄って見るがよい、目にも悲惨な
物好きは今流行の素人風の身なりで
今宜しく遊廓の大門を倒せば
たちまち極悪非道、ちょうど五丁にわたって火事が燃え広がる

〽このような燃え立つ様は絶え間ない美しい声音も混乱し
遊女たちも大勢が今燃えかかる仲の町で｜火の手がますます激しくなる

夜中の激しい責めに焼かれて、風で笠が揺られて
