候様相聞こえるので、よく調査の上、鷹狩り道は御場入りの場所及び公料、他領入会の場所、その他はできるだけ鷹狩り道普請場所を減らすよう申し談じて取り計らうこと

○財政方面は従来不如意で、専ら才覚をもって引き延ばし取り計らってきたが、次第に借財が嵩み、やむを得ず一同支払い延期を行った。これについて平常・不時の入用を調べたところ、文化七・八年（午・未）両年と同十一・十二年（戌・亥）両年の勘定帳の表で、戌・亥両年の方が莫大な入用増となっている。もちろん役所によって減った方面もあるが、多分に増加している。格別の不時の御用もないのに戌・亥に至って入用増があるのは、全く平生の締め方が行き届かないためと思われ、特に済まないことである。よって午・未の入用高に戻るよう申し付ける。右の入用高からもさらに減らすよう厚く心配して取り計らうこと

○Financial affairs have long been difficult, and we have managed by delaying payments through various expedients, but debts have gradually accumulated, making it unavoidable for everyone to request payment deferrals. Regarding this, when examining regular and extraordinary expenses, comparing the account books for Bunka 7-8 (Horse-Sheep years) and Bunka 11-12 (Dog-Boar years), the Dog-Boar years show enormous increases in expenses. While some offices have reduced expenses, most have increased them. Since there were no particularly extraordinary duties, yet expenses increased in the Dog-Boar years, this appears entirely due to inadequate regular financial management, which is particularly inexcusable. Therefore, expenses should return to the levels of the Horse-Sheep years. Even from those expense levels, further reductions should be carefully implemented.

Also, reductions have been ordered for various goods and distributed items.

○Regarding the family temple, as this is a special matter, construction and repair items have been appropriately ordered until now, but since tightening measures for government offices have been announced, from this Ox year forward, construction and repair items cannot be handled as they have been previously, so this should be communicated to the family temple for their advance understanding.
