一休息等内願之儀は兼而六十四五歳ゟ若キ者休息内願多相成候儀は
御好不被遊無拠病身之者は格別之事其餘勝手向等之儀に付内願之者有
之哉に候へ共御番等相勤り候程之者は休息内願無之様に御番頭共猶又
精誠致心配候様にとの御沙汰に候事
一此度武田弥三郎儀去年來病身にも有之其上眼病に候へは無拠儀且又大内
七兵衛儀は近来病身とは乍申御番等相勤り兼候程には不被思召候
右之趣御番頭共兼而相含置候様無急度相移候様にとの御沙汰に候事
三月廿九日
右之通大御番頭并新番頭へ致演説置候様月番長谷部小右衛門へ与三左衛門方
被申聞候に付夫々申達之候
但今日武田弥三郎太田七兵衛年寄其上病身に付内願之通休息被仰付候事

○米町手形商の件について、先年諸事を御勘定所取扱いに申し付けられたところ、以前の通り町役所取扱いに申し付けられた。そのように心得て取り計らうこと

御移しの趣
一、休息等内願の件は、かねてから六十四、五歳より若い者の休息内願が多くなることは御好みでない。やむを得ない病身の者は格別のこと。その余勝手向け等の件により内願の者があるようだが、御番等を勤められる程度の者は休息内願がないよう、御番頭共になお一層精誠をもって心配するようにとの御沙汰である
一、この度武田弥三郎は去年来病身でもあり、その上眼病なのでやむを得ない。また大内七兵衛は近来病身とはいうものの、御番等を勤めかねる程度とは思われない
右の趣を御番頭共がかねて含み置くよう、急度相移らないようにとの御沙汰である
三月二十九日
右の通り大御番頭並びに新番頭へ演説し置くよう、月番長谷部小右衛門へ与三左衛門方より申し聞かされたので、それぞれ申し達した
ただし今日武田弥三郎・太田七兵衛は年寄りでその上病身により、内願の通り休息を申し付けられた

Regarding the transfer orders
1. Concerning private requests for retirement, there have been many private requests for retirement from those younger than sixty-four or sixty-five years old, which is not favored. Those who are unavoidably ill are exceptional cases. There may be others making private requests due to financial circumstances, etc., but those capable of serving guard duty should not make private requests for retirement, and the guard captains should take even greater sincere care in this matter, according to the lord's directive
1. This time, Takeda Yasaburō has been ill since last year and moreover has an eye disease, so it is unavoidable. Also, Ōuchi Shichibei, while recently reported as ill, is not thought to be unable to perform guard duty, etc.
The guard captains should keep this matter in mind beforehand and ensure there is no hasty transfer, according to the lord's directive
