○去ル十八日御隠居　御家督無御相違被仰出
　中将様御快節は平川口ゟ御登城於御奥折々御機嫌御伺被成候様
　被蒙仰難有思召候此段可申渡旨被仰出候則佐野内膳并田口惣兵衛被
　指越候可有恐悦候尤　御代々御条目之通相守相勤候様被仰出候

○去る十八日、御隠居・御家督について相違なく仰せ出されました。
　中将様がご快復の節は平川口より御登城され、御奥において折々御機嫌伺いをなされるよう
　仰せを蒙り、ありがたく思し召しとのことです。この件について申し渡すよう仰せ出されました。
　すなわち佐野内膳ならびに田口総兵衛が指し越されました。恐悦すべきことです。
　もっとも、御代々の御条目の通り相守り相勤めるよう仰せ出されました。

○On the 18th of last month, the retirement and succession were announced without any changes.
　When the Chūjō-sama recovers, he shall enter the castle via Hirakawa Gate and occasionally
　pay respects at the inner quarters. This is received as a gracious favor from His Lordship.
　It was ordered that this matter be communicated. Accordingly, Sano Naizen and Taguchi Sōbei
　were dispatched. This is cause for great celebration. Moreover, it was ordered that [all]
　should observe and serve according to the hereditary regulations of successive generations.
