江戸に而 御用人
○御聞番御役名之儀御役替等之節は是迄之通御聞番と被仰出平常相
唱候処は御留守居と可相唱旨被仰出候其段大道寺七右衛門蟹江善右衛門へ可被申
聞候右之段申通し可然向へは各ゟ可被相通候

○於御作事所近来諸入用之儀此度調之上当丑年ゟ一ヶ年御入用高別紙之通
相極御作事役所へ渡切に被仰付候間右御定金を以引請御修覆之儀無由断取
斗候様被仰出候尤不時大破之場所并新規之儀有之候はヽ其節々御奉行共申談可
被取扱候此段役下之者へも厚申渡御不益之筋無之様取斗可申旨可被申渡候右に付
猶又別紙之通被仰出候間左様相心得可被取斗候

文化二年丑年
江戸において 御用人
○御聞番の役名について、役替等の際はこれまでの通り御聞番と申し渡し、平常呼称する場合は御留守居と呼ぶよう申し渡された。その件について大道寺七右衛門、蟹江善右衛門へ申し聞かせること。右の件について申し通すべき適当な方面へは各自から伝達すること。
正月四日
御作事奉行
○御作事所において、近頃の諸入用について今回調査の上、当丑年から一ヶ年の御入用高を別紙の通り決定し、御作事役所へ渡し切りで申し付けられた。右の御定金をもって引き受け、御修復については滞りなく取り計らうよう申し渡された。もっとも、不時の大破箇所並びに新規の件があれば、その都度御奉行らと申し談じて取り扱うこと。この件について役下の者へも厚く申し渡し、御不益の筋がないよう取り計らうべき旨を申し渡すこと。これについてさらに別紙の通り申し渡されたので、そのように心得て取り計らうこと。

○Regarding the title of御聞番 (go-kikiban): when there are position changes, they shall be called御聞番 as before, but in ordinary circumstances they shall be called御留守居 (go-rusuii). This matter should be communicated to Daidōji Shichiemon and Kanie Zenemon. Each person should communicate this matter to appropriate parties as necessary.
January 4th
Construction Magistrate
○At the construction office, regarding various recent expenses, after investigation this time, the annual budget amount from this year of the Ox has been determined as shown in the attached document, and a lump-sum allocation has been ordered to the construction office. Using this allocated budget, they are ordered to undertake repairs without delay. However, if there are unexpected major damages or new projects, the magistrates should consult with each other at each occasion. This matter should also be thoroughly communicated to subordinate officials, and they should be instructed to handle matters so as to avoid any unprofitable outcomes. Additionally, further instructions have been given as shown in the attached document, so they should conduct themselves accordingly with this understanding.
