富正父孫左衛門重富ハ先祖淡海公廿四代後胤豊後国住
人本多助秀ト申者ヨリ十代之後裔ニテ数代参河国居住
仕之由申伝候本多佐渡守正信類家之旨是又申伝重富ハ
岡崎三郎信康公エ被為附候ニ付其以後蟄居仕候由富正
ハ重富弟本多作左衛門重次子仙千代為代 秀康公エ御
附被成大阪エ被遣《割書：于時十｜五歳也》此節 権現様御目見被 仰付
御直御懇之 上意有之由其以後 秀康公御出陣之御供
毎度相勤候 権現様御隠居所駿河ニ被為築候節従
秀康公富正ヲ被遣富士山之材木伐出ニ付為御褒美大左
文字之御刀 権現様御手自被下之関ヶ原御合戦之節御
着帯之御刀ニテ御秘蔵ニ被 思食候得共此度之御褒美

秀康公が十二歳の時に権現様（徳川家康）より御附けとなり
天正十三年（一五八五年）より御奉公を相勤める

富正の父である孫左衛門重富は、先祖淡海公二十四代後胤で豊後国住
人本多助秀という者より十代の後裔にて、数代参河国に居住し
仕えたという申し伝えがある。本多佐渡守正信の類家であると、これまた申し伝えられている。重富は
岡崎三郎信康公にお附けされたが、その後蟄居したという。富正は
重富の弟本多作左衛門重次の子仙千代の養子となり、秀康公にお
附けされ大阪に遣わされた（その時十五歳なり）。この節、権現様にお目見えを仰せ付けられ、
御直々に御懇意の上意があったという。その後、秀康公の御出陣のお供を
毎度相勤めた。権現様が御隠居所を駿河にお築きになった節、秀康公より
富正を遣わし、富士山の材木伐り出しについて、御褒美として大左
文字の御刀を権現様が御手自らお下しになった。関ヶ原御合戦の節にご
着帯された御刀にて御秘蔵にお思し召されていたが、この度の御褒美

When Lord Hideyasu was twelve years old, he was assigned by Gongen-sama (Tokugawa Ieyasu)
From Tenshō 13 (1585), he served faithfully in official service
● Honda Izu-no-kami Tomimasa (native province: Mikawa, family name: Fujiwara, childhood name: Genshirō, middle period called Shima, later changed to Tamba-no-kami, Buddhist name: Genkaku)
Tomimasa's father, Magosaemon Shigetomi, was a descendant of the 24th generation of ancestor Ōmi-kō, a resident of Bungo Province
It is said that he was the tenth-generation descendant of one Honda Sukehide, and for several generations resided in Mikawa Province
serving there according to tradition. It is also handed down that he was related to Honda Sado-no-kami Masanobu. Shigetomi
was assigned to Lord Okazaki Saburō Nobuyasu, but after that went into retirement. Tomimasa
became the adopted son of Senchiyo, son of Shigetomi's younger brother Honda Sakuzaemon Shigetsugu, was assigned to Lord Hideyasu
and was sent to Osaka (at that time he was fifteen years old). At this time, he was granted an audience with Gongen-sama,
and received direct gracious words from him. Thereafter, he faithfully served as escort
every time Lord Hideyasu went on campaign. When Gongen-sama built his retirement residence in Suruga,
Tomimasa was sent by Lord Hideyasu for the timber cutting at Mount Fuji, and as a reward
Gongen-sama personally bestowed upon him a sword with the inscription "Ōsa." This was a sword that had been worn
at the Battle of Sekigahara and was treasured by him, but for this reward
