恵比根草には数種あり、春に開花するものを金恵比根草という。また薄紅色のものを茶巾恵比根草という。また白花や紅黄色、薄色のものもある。花蘭は秋に咲く恵比根という。また金恵比根の花苞が茶褐色のものもある。

There are several species of ebine orchids. Those that bloom in spring are called golden ebine orchids. The pale pink ones are called chakin (tea cloth) ebine orchids. There are also white-flowered, red-yellow, and pale-colored varieties. Karan (Cymbidium) is an ebine that blooms in autumn. There are also golden ebine with tea-brown flower bracts.
