当秋宗門再御改之儀此節段々御多用御座候ニ付
今年之儀者私共人別相改候様被 仰付奉畏町年寄
町代組頭立合相改申候処春中御改之通宗門幷人別少も
相違無御座候
一人別増減之儀別紙帳面差上申候
右之通町中入念相改申候処疑敷もの少も無御座候万一
如何敷儀御聞及候ハゝ何分之越度ニも被 仰付候為後日仍而如件

差し上げ申す一札の事
当秋の宗門再御改めの儀について、この節段々と御多用でございますので、今年の儀については私共で人別を相改め候よう仰せ付けられ、恐れ入って承りました。町年寄・町代・組頭立ち合いのもと相改め申したところ、春中の御改めの通り、宗門並びに人別について少しも相違ございません。
一、人別増減の儀については別紙帳面を差し上げ申します。
右の通り町中入念に相改め申したところ、疑わしいものは少しもございません。万一何か宜しくない儀をお聞き及びになりましたら、何分の越度にでも仰せ付けられ候。後日のため、よって件の如し。

Document of Submission
Regarding the matter of the autumn re-inspection of religious sects: As you are increasingly busy with various matters at this time, we have been ordered to conduct the population census ourselves this year, which we humbly accept. Under the supervision of the town elders, town representatives, and group leaders, we have conducted the inspection and found that the religious affiliations and population records are exactly as they were during the spring inspection, with no discrepancies whatsoever.
Regarding increases and decreases in population: We submit a separate ledger for these matters.
Having carefully inspected the entire town as described above, we found nothing suspicious. Should anything improper come to your attention, we are prepared to accept whatever punishment you deem appropriate. For future reference, therefore as stated.
