肥前国高来軍有馬村原城惣攻之時節於諸手一
　番乗之覚書曰寛永十五戌寅二月廿七日未之
　上刻原城二之丸之出丸江榊原飛騨守同左衛
　門一番乗与申之由其朝敵出丸を明退多る故
　鍋島信濃守ゟ松平伊豆守江相窺之後加下知
　軽卒於余輩土居江上け土俵木わた俵等を者
　祢申処右之方横曲輪ゟ鉄砲放し壱人打倒し
　土手ゟ転ひ落候へ共残輩蛛之子を如散逃去

切支丹御退治記巻之三十一

肥前国高来郡有馬村原城総攻めの時節における諸手一番乗りの覚書。寛永十五年戌寅（1638年）二月二十七日未の上刻、原城二の丸の出丸へ榊原飛騨守、同左衛門が一番乗りを果たしたと申す由。その朝、敵が出丸を明け渡して多数退いたため、鍋島信濃守から松平伊豆守へ相談の後、指示を与えた。軽卒らに我々の陣地へ上がらせ、土俵や木綿俵などを運ばせていたところ、右の方の横曲輪から鉄砲を放たれ、一人が撃ち倒されて土手から転び落ちた。しかし残りの者たちは蜘蛛の子を散らすように逃げ去った。

Memorandum of the first warriors to breach enemy lines at each position during the general assault on Hara Castle in Arima Village, Takaki District, Hizen Province. On the 27th day of the 2nd month of Kan'ei 15, year of the Earth Tiger (1638), during the early part of the hour of the Sheep (around 1-2 PM), Sakakibara Hida-no-kami and the same Saemon are said to have achieved the first breach into the outer bailey of Hara Castle's second bailey. That morning, as the enemy had abandoned the outer bailey and many had retreated, after Nabeshima Shinano-no-kami consulted with Matsudaira Izu-no-kami, orders were given. While having light infantry ascend to our earthworks and carry up earth-filled bags, cotton bales, and such, firearms were discharged from the lateral curved fortification on the right side, striking down one man who tumbled from the earthwork. However, the remaining men scattered and fled like baby spiders.
