現代語訳
そして内は流れる水のようである。ただ慎んで心を磨くべきである。天下泰平の政治を行う人は、慎まないということがあってはならない。節会相撲も代々続いていたが、志賀の家も末流となった。その後、淳和天皇の天長年中に志賀の氏族も断絶した。
【行司事の始まり】
人王八十二代後鳥羽院の御代に、吉田豊後守家永が志賀家の伝を得て、隠れもない名声が世に聞こえているため、朝廷へ召されて相撲行事の司官を給わった。すなわち吉田追風である。寛政三年（辛亥）六月十一日、上覧に付き、追風先祖書並びに右の一件を左に記す。

The seasonal court sumo also continued through generations, but the Shiga house also became a branch family. Later, during Emperor Junna's Tenchō era, the Shiga clan also became extinct.
**The Beginning of Gyōji Affairs**
During the reign of the 82nd Human Sovereign, Emperor Go-Toba, Yoshida Bungo-no-kami Ienaga obtained the transmission of the Shiga house. Because his undeniable reputation was known throughout the world, he was summoned to the imperial court and granted the position of magistrate for sumo ceremonies. This was Yoshida Oikaze. On the 11th day of the 6th month of Kansei 3 (Kanoto-i, year of the boar), regarding the imperial viewing, the ancestral records of Oikaze and the aforementioned matters are recorded below.
