之儀に候処精力を尽蹈込出精諸事宜
取計候に付御用向追々取纏大振成取計
仕居に相成功作格別之訳を以只今迄之
御役料三拾石加増に御直被下置候事
一同三寅年六月安積市大夫弟直江聟
養子仕度旨被任願候
但最初中野久右衛門二男多門養子被
任願并不縁之年月不詳に候事
一同年十一月去秋ゟ当年迄御用差湊
昼夜被込候処引通精出宜相勤候に付為
御褒美銀子弐枚被下置候事
一同五辰年正月蝦夷地御固御用に付御人数
一同出起仕宗谷え相詰同十一月御用相済帰
陣仕候
但同十二月御人数一同 御目見仕於

一同年十二月数年来精出相勤懸り之御用
向臨時多端之儀に候処精々相尽宜相勤

現代語訳
の件につきましては、精力を尽くして踏み込んで出精し、諸事よろしく
取り計らったため、御用向きが追々取りまとまって大きく成果のある取り計らい
をするに至り、功績が格別であるとの理由で、これまでの
御役料三十石に加増して御直々に下し置かれた件
一 同三年（文化三年）寅年六月、安積市大夫の弟を直江の婿
養子にしたい旨、願いの通りに任せられた
但し最初は中野久右衛門の二男多門を養子にすることを
願いの通りに任せられたが、縁組みが成らなかった年月は詳しくない件
一 同年十一月、去秋から当年まで御用が差し迫って
昼夜にわたって込み入った処、引き続き精出してよろしく相勤めたため
御褒美として銀子二枚を下し置かれた件
一 同五年（文化五年）辰年正月、蝦夷地御固めの御用につき御人数
一同で出陣して宗谷へ詰め、同十一月に御用が済んで帰
陣した
但し同十二月、御人数一同で 御目見えして

大書院にて御料理を頂戴した・
一 同年十二月、数年来精出して相勤め、懸かりの御用
向きが臨時に多端の件であったが、精々尽くしてよろしく相勤め
たため、格別の理由で常上下格に成し下された件
一 同六年（文化六年）巳年十月、春中から御用向きが差し迫り且つ考課吟味が

which led to the gradual consolidation of official duties and significant accomplishments in his management.
Due to his exceptional achievements, he was directly granted an increase
to his existing official stipend of thirty koku.

to adopt the younger brother of Asaka Ichidayū as son-in-law for the Naoe family
Note: Initially he had been granted permission as requested to adopt Tamon,
the second son of Nakano Kyūemon, but the details of the year and month when this engagement was broken are unclear.
1. In the same year, eleventh month, from last autumn until this year, official duties were pressing
and complicated day and night, but he continued to work diligently and performed well, so
he was granted two pieces of silver as a reward.
1. In the same fifth year (Bunka 5, 1808), year of the Dragon, first month, for official duties related to defending Ezo land, all personnel
departed together and were stationed at Sōya, returning from their mission
in the eleventh month of the same year.
Note: In the same year, twelfth month, all personnel had an audience [with the lord]
