学校什長を相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた

One In the third month of Bunka 1 (Rat year), he served well as school jūchō (superintendent) for three years on a temporary basis, for which he was commended.
One In the second month of Bunka 3 (Tiger year), although he was of advanced age, he was appointed to serve as school jūchō.
One In the seventh month of the same year, due to changes in the school system, he was relieved of his jūchō duties. Up to this point,

he had served diligently, so as a reward he was given one bundle of cotton.
One In the third month of Bunka 5 (Dragon year), he was appointed to oversee the academy.
One In the sixth month of Bunka 6 (Snake year), due to changes in the school system this time, he was relieved of his academy oversight duties. It was announced that he had served diligently up to this point.
One In the third month of Bunka 14 (Ox year), as requested by his father, he was appointed as guard substitute and served castle guard duty in Naitō Sukemon's group.
