地震方々人逃状（ぢしんほう〴〵にんにけじやう）之事
一 此（この）ゆり苦労（くらう）と申 者（もの）生得（せうとく）信濃国（しなのゝくに）生須（なまづ）の荘（しやう）
揺初村（ゆりそめむら）【注】出生（しゆつしやう）にて不 慥（たしか）なるふら附者に付荒魔ども
失人（うせにん）に相立（あいたち）異変（いへん）沙汰（さた）へ諸々方々（しよ〳〵ほう〴〵）にゆり出し
申候処めつほう也 火災（くわさい）の義（ぎ）は当卯十月二日夜ゟ
翌（よく）三日午の下刻迄と相定（あいさだめ）困窮（こんきう）人の義（ぎ）は難渋（なんじう）無住（むぢう）と
相きはめ只今御ほどこしとしてさつま芋三俵はしたにてたべ
申候御救之義は七ヶ所へ御 建（たて）じま 御恵（おんめぐみ）に《振り仮名：逢目嶋｜あ□めじま》
可被下候事
一鹿島様 御法度（ごはつと）の義（ぎ）は申に不及お家（いへ）の八方（はつぽう）相 傾（かたむか）せ申間鋪候
若（もし）此者お台所（だいどころ）の女中方の寐息（ねいき）を考（かんが）へ内証（ないしやう）の地震（ぢしん）致候歟
又はゆり逃（にげ）壁落（かべおち）致候はゝ急度（きつと）したるかふばりの丸太を
以て早速らちあけ可申候
一 愁患（しうせう）の義は一蓮（いちれん）たく宗（しう）にて寺（てら）は夜中（よなか）ゆりあけ坂
道性寺（どうしやうじ）市中（しちう）まつぱたか騒動院（そうどういん）大火（たいくわ）に紛（まぎ）れ御座
なく候御 発動（はつどう）のゆりしたん宗（しう）にてはこれなく候
若（もし）物音（ものをと）がたつきひめわひより瓦（かはら）をふらし候義は
無之万一ゆりかへし等致候はゝ我等（われら）早速（さつそく）まがり出 要石（かなめいし）を

現代語訳
地震で方々の人が逃げる状況について
一、この「ゆり苦労」という者は、生まれつき信濃国生須の荘揺初村出身で、確かでない浮ついた者であるため、悪魔どもが行方不明者となって異変を引き起こし、あちこちでゆり出して申している次第で、とんでもないことです。火災については、今年卯年十月二日夜から翌三日午の下刻（午後3時頃）までと定められ、困窮した人については難渋で住む所がないと決められています。ただいまお施しとしてさつま芋三俵を端にして食べて申しております。お救いについては七ヶ所にお建てになり、ご恵みをいただけることになっております。
一、鹿島様のご法度については申すまでもなく、お家の八方が傾くことがないようにいたします。もしこの者がお台所の女中方の寝息を考えて内密に地震を起こしているか、また揺れ逃げして壁が落ちるようなことがあれば、きっとしっかりした梁の丸太で早速けりをつけましょう。
一、心配事については一蓮託宗で、寺は夜中に揺れ明け坂道性寺、市中は松葉高騒動院で大火に紛れております。お発動の揺れ下ん宗ではこれがありません。もし物音がしてひび割れから瓦を振らすことがあっても、万一揺り返しなどがあれば、我等は早速曲がり出て要石で「ぎゅっ」と押さえ付けて、野田へ宿賃をかけることはいたしません。地震のたびに許せないような惨状です。

Regarding the situation of people fleeing everywhere due to the earthquake
1. This person called "Yuri Kurou" (Shaking Trouble) is by nature from Yurisomemura in Namatsu-no-sho, Shinano Province, and being an unreliable, frivolous person, evil spirits have become missing persons, causing strange phenomena and shaking things up everywhere, which is absolutely outrageous. Regarding fires, it has been determined that they will occur from the night of October 2nd of this year (Year of the Rabbit) until the hour of Uma-no-goku (around 3 PM) on the following 3rd day. There is no such shaking activation in the Yuri-shitan sect.
