一朝飯後惣代息久季栄出頭旨趣は木作始日限御伝奏江
伺夫ゟ西御役所へ御伝奏へ伺之御届酉刻過帰郷演説御伝奏へ
参上木作始日時伺書并覚書等取次を以申入候処追付御対顔ニ而
仰ニ木作始之儀ニ付書付之趣御承知被成候左候ハヽ幾日ニ而も不苦哉与之
事故先例ニ付三ヶ日書付候得共三日四日両日之内執行仕度候乍
然両社同もニも被仰出候ハヽ時辰未与相分り候得は武辺差支無之
趣ニ候乍去先ハ隔日之方ニ仕度段申上又仰ニ宣旨使ハ如何様之
事哉与御尋故此儀ハ次第書も有之候間近日可差上旨申上退去
夫ゟ西御役所へ参上倉橋定之進真野八郎兵衛出逢木作始日時伺書
御伝奏へ差出候ニ付御届書致持参候旨申入処落手也今日持参之

一、朝飯後、惣代息久季栄が出頭。趣旨は木作始日限を御伝奏へ伺うため、それより西御役所へ。御伝奏へ伺いの御届け、酉の刻過ぎに帰郷、演説。御伝奏へ参上、木作始日時伺書並びに覚書等を取次を以て申し入れたところ、追って御対面にて仰せになるには、木作始の儀について書付の趣旨を御承知なされた。左様であれば幾日でも苦しからざるやとの事。故に先例について三ヶ日書き付けたが、三日四日両日の内に執行したく候。しかしながら両社同時にも仰せ出されれば、時辰未の刻と相分かれば武辺に差し支え無き趣である。去りながらまずは隔日の方にしたき段申し上げ。また仰せになるには、宣旨使はいかようの事かと御尋ねにより、この儀は次第書もこれあり候間、近日差し上ぐべき旨申し上げ退去。
それより西御役所へ参上、倉橋定之進、真野八郎兵衛に出逢う。木作始日時伺書を御伝奏へ差し出すについて御届書を持参した旨申し入れたところ、受け取られた。今日持参の書付の控えは左の如し。

One item: After the morning meal, representative Sokukyū Kiei appeared. The purpose was to inquire with the Imperial Messenger about the deadline for wood construction commencement, and then proceed to the Western Government Office. The inquiry notification to the Imperial Messenger was completed, and he returned home after the hour of the Rooster, giving a report. He went to see the Imperial Messenger, submitting through an intermediary the inquiry document about the wood construction commencement date and time, along with memoranda. Subsequently, in a direct audience, the Imperial Messenger stated that he had acknowledged the content of the written document regarding the wood construction commencement matter. In that case, would any number of days be acceptable? Therefore, following precedent, three days were written down, but they wished to execute it within either the 3rd or 4th day. However, if both shrines were ordered simultaneously, since the time of the Monkey hour was specified, there would be no conflict with military matters. Nevertheless, he first requested that it be done on alternate days. The Imperial Messenger also asked what kind of matter the Imperial Edict Messenger was, so he replied that there were procedural documents for this matter and that he would submit them in the near future, then withdrew.
