　　　御発駕被遊同十日　御京着御使
　　　御用　御首尾能被為済同月廿四日
　　　京都御発駕ニ而　六月九日　御帰府
　　　被遊候所御供御用無滞相勤帰着仕候
　　　ニ付即日御料理被下置候
　　　　但　御道中御往来之内両度於
　　　　京都も初而　御参内相済候節御酒
　　　　被下候事
　一　同年六月　御上京御用一件　御
　　　旧例も在之儀ニ候得共臨時之取斗も

　　　在之後来之規ニも相成儀ニ候間当用引
　　　離れ取調候様被　仰付深田新右衛門草刈
　　　津太夫一同取調同十月九日ゟ当用相勤
　　　候事
　一　同年八月当席之儘御用所密事勤
　　　之銘義ニ被成替勤方是迄之通相心得
　　　御用所組頭差配を得相勤一己江懸候儀者
　　　右組頭を以可申出旨被　仰聞候事
　一　同年十月年来精出律儀ニ相勤懸り
　　　御用ハ勿論諸事入念委敷及吟味彼是

現代語訳

御出発され、同月十日に京都に到着され、御使の御用を首尾よく済まされ、同月二十四日に京都を出発されて六月九日に江戸に御帰着された際、御供の御用を滞りなく勤めて帰着したことにより、即日御料理を下し置かれた
ただし　御道中の往来の間に両度、京都においても初めて参内が済んだ節に御酒を下された事

一　同年六月　御上京御用一件について
旧例もある儀であるが、臨時の取り計らいもあり、後来の規則にもなる儀であるから、当用を離れて取り調べるよう仰せ付けられ、深田新右衛門・草刈津太夫と一同で取り調べ、同年十月九日より当用を勤めた事

一　同年八月　当席のまま御用所密事勤の銘義に成り替えられ、勤め方はこれまでの通り心得、御用所組頭の差配を得て勤め、一己に係る儀については右組頭を以て申し出るべき旨を仰せ聞かされた事

一　同年十月　年来精を出し律義に勤め、係りの御用はもちろん諸事に入念で詳細に吟味し、あれこれと

英語訳

[The lord] departed and arrived in Kyoto on the tenth day of the same month. Having successfully completed his official mission duties, he departed Kyoto on the twenty-fourth day of the same month and returned to Edo on the ninth day of the sixth month. For faithfully performing his escort duties without incident and returning, he was immediately awarded a meal.
Note: During the journey back and forth, twice in Kyoto, when the first audience with the Emperor was completed, he was awarded sake.

1. In the sixth month of the same year, regarding the Kyoto mission affairs
Although there were precedents for such matters, there were also extraordinary arrangements to be made, and as this would establish precedents for the future, he was ordered to investigate these matters apart from his regular duties. Together with Fukada Shinuemon and Kusakari Tsudayu, he conducted the investigation and began regular duties from the ninth day of the tenth month of the same year.

While maintaining his current position, he was reassigned to confidential administrative duties. His manner of service was to remain as before, working under the supervision of the administrative group leader, and he was instructed that any matters concerning himself should be reported through the said group leader.
