絵本類書は世の中に多くある。今これを改めるものではない。筆力が拙いのは技量が及ばないためであろうから、どうかお許しください。ただ初心者の参考になればと思うのみである。

Picture Book of Life Drawing of Animals - Complete in two volumes. Though there are many animal picture books in the world, this one has been drawn comprehensively, leaving nothing out. As a manual for beginners, nothing surpasses this.
