訴訟の裁許の件について、当座の懲らしめとして手錠などの軽い処罰については、そのままで構わないが、死罪に及ぶ件については御勘定所まで報告すべき旨、和泉守殿よりご連絡があった。
ただし、これに関して、
秀康様がお定めになった御法式、
忠昌様以来、お仕置きを仰せ付けられた趣をもって、
お仕置きを仰せ付けられる旨、ご挨拶があった。
一、六月十六日、このたび御領所へ仰せ出された件について、本多大蔵（長教）をはじめ御家老・御城代へお書きを成された。
一、同月十八日、暑中につき御使者をもって、例の通り素麺・干し鯛を献上された。
一、同月十九日、大手御勘定所へ御奉行・蟹江刑部右衛門（茂喬）、御留守居・宮北十郎左衛門（定由）、御勝手受込・畑中儀兵衛（景英）が罷り出たところ、（昨十八日に御勘定組頭・吟味役より申し来たった）御勘定組頭・木村四郎兵衛および小出加兵衛殿が列座され、御領所の村附帳面が渡された。
一、同月二十一日、暑中につき御機嫌をうかがうため、御用番・戸田山城守（忠真）殿へご挨拶のために出仕した。
一、同月二十五日、端午の御祝儀の御献上につき、御内書が

Regarding the adjudication of lawsuits, light punishments such as handcuffing as an immediate penalty are acceptable as they are, but cases involving capital punishment should be reported to the Finance Office. This was communicated by His Lordship Izumi-no-kami.
However, regarding this matter:
Based on the legal codes established by Lord Hideyasu, and the punishments ordered since the time of Lord Tadamasa, punishments shall be administered accordingly, and greetings were exchanged to this effect.
1. On the 16th day of the 6th month, regarding the orders recently issued to the domain territories, letters were sent to Honda Ōkura (Naganori) and other senior retainers (karō) and castle stewards (jōdai).
1. On the 18th day of the same month, as it was the height of summer, in accordance with custom, sōmen noodles and dried sea bream were presented as gifts via a messenger.
1. On the 19th day of the same month, the administrator Kanie Gyōbu-emon (Shigutaka), the resident representative Miyakita Jūrōzaemon (Sadayoshi), and the household finance officer Hatanaka Gihee (Kagahide) appeared at the Finance Office at the main gate (Ōte). There (as had been communicated the previous day, the 18th, by the Finance Office group leader and inspector), Finance Office group leaders Kimura Shirōbee and Koide Kahee were seated in attendance, and the village registry for the domain territories was handed over.
1. On the 21st day of the same month, as it was the height of summer, an official visit was made to the duty official (goyōban) Lord Toda Yamashiro-no-kami (Tadamasa) to inquire after his health.
