一、七月十九日 御用番井上河内守殿へ御逢対・御勤仕
一、同月二十八日 高森御代官美濃部勘右衛門殿支配分の御引渡しにつき、御領所御用掛りの御役人共が廣瀬まで出向いて受け取った
一、同日 三丁火消の御人数御指出の件について、以後は三丁の内でも町火事には御指出に及ばず、御曲輪内のみ御指出されるよう、殿中において御目付稲葉多宮殿が直接申し上げた
一、八月朔日 御祝儀のため登城され、例の通り御太刀馬代を御献上された
一、同月六日 昨五日御老中水野和泉守殿より御呼出があり、御留守居宮北十郎左衛門が出向いた処、南条郡の内脇本村近所に清水村という在所があるか、また右村に熊野権現の社があるかの旨を用人を以て尋ねられたため、今日左の通り書付を持参して指出した。

[The lord] was escorted to that location, and then went to the castle to express gratitude, having an audience with Naito Tango-no-kami, the oshoba-ban (court announcer). Upon departure, he made the customary rounds to the senior councilors.

July 28th: Regarding the transfer of territories under the jurisdiction of Takamori Deputy Minobe Kanuemon, the domain officials in charge of territorial affairs went to Hirose to receive them.
Same day: Regarding the deployment of fire brigade personnel from the three districts, Inaba Tamiya, the inspector (metsuke), directly reported in the palace that henceforth, even within the three districts, there would be no need to deploy for town fires, and deployment should only be made within the castle compounds.
August 1st: Went to the castle for congratulatory purposes and presented the customary ceremonial sword and horse substitute offering.
August 6th: Yesterday (the 5th), there was a summons from Senior Councilor Mizuno Izumi-no-kami. When the castle representative Miyakita Jūrozaemon went to attend, he was asked through a retainer whether there was a village called Shimizu-mura near Wakimoto village in Nanjō District, and whether there was a Kumano Gongen shrine in that village.
