一、同日為年始御祝儀御使者寄合稲垣安右衛門《割書：重｜信》を以例

現代語訳
享保五年庚子
一、正月朔日（元日）、御本丸にて年始の御期式（年始の儀式）が執り行われた。
一、同日、年始のご祝儀として、御使者として寄合（身分）の稲垣安右衛門（重信）を遣わし、例年通り御太刀・馬代を献上した。
但し、安右衛門は前年十二月五日に福井を出立した。
一、同月三日、御謡初めのご祝儀として、御使者を遣わし、例年通り御盃台・御酒代を献上した。
一、同月七日、若菜のご祝儀として、御使者を遣わし、例年通り御肴として鯛を献上した。

Kyōhō 5, Year of the Metal Rat (1720)
Item: On the first day of the first month (New Year's Day), the New Year's ceremonial observances were held at the Main Keep (Hon-maru).
Item: On the same day, as a New Year's congratulatory gift, Inagaki Yasaemon (Shigenobu), of the yoriai rank, was dispatched as an envoy, and, as per custom, a ceremonial sword (odachi) and a sum of money in lieu of a horse (umashiro) were presented.
Note: Yasaemon departed from Fukui on the fifth day of the twelfth month of the previous year.
Item: On the third day of the same month, as a congratulatory gift for the first noh chanting of the New Year (utaizone), an envoy was dispatched and, as per custom, a sake cup stand (sakazukidai) and a sum of money for sake (sakeshiro) were presented.
Item: On the seventh day of the same month, as a congratulatory gift for the Young Greens ceremony (wakana), an envoy was dispatched and, as per custom, sea bream (tai) was presented as a ceremonial dish.
