現代語訳
一、寛延元年辰年六月五日、御領所御目付役加藤又右衛門が口上書をもって申し出たのは、組の者の鉄砲打場について、今まで柘植伊右衛門組の鉄砲場を借りて稽古をしていたところ、差し支えがあるため矢場地を願い出たいということでした。現在組の人数も増えているため、あわせて御吟味の上、興宗寺裏で矢場地として下し置いてほしい旨を願い出て、奈良権左衛門へ申し渡しました。「右同断で下し置かれるので、そのように承知すべき旨、もっともこの時期は作物が育っているはずなので、その始末の次第で矢場地を割り渡すということを御奉行加藤武右衛門へ申し渡しました」。加藤又右衛門へ矢場地が下し置かれるため、右矢場地は絵図の通りであり、屋敷奉行へも申し聞かせるべき間柄なので申し談じて取り扱うべき旨、もっともこの時期は作物が育っているはずなので、始末の次第で割り渡しても良い旨を御目付田辺五太夫へ申し渡しました。

On the 5th day of the 6th month of Kan'en 1 (1748), domain inspector Kato Mataemon submitted a written petition stating that regarding the musket training ground for his group members, they had been borrowing and using the musket range of Tsutsuge Iemon's group for practice, but due to conflicts arising, they wished to petition for an archery ground. Since the number of group members had also increased, after investigation, they requested to be granted archery ground behind Kosoji Temple, which was communicated to Nara Gonzaemon. "The same was granted, and this should be understood accordingly. Since crops would likely be growing at this time, the archery ground would be allocated after the harvest was completed," as conveyed to magistrate Kato Takeemon. Since archery ground was granted to Kato Mataemon, the said archery ground corresponds to the diagram, and since this should also be communicated to the estate magistrate, it should be handled through consultation.
