一、九時半過ぎ、御鷹部屋の明き部屋の内から出火、御鷹部屋のみ焼失。ただし西の方の端少々取り壊したとのこと。短時間で鎮火し、役所方面に異常なし。もっとも御鷹は残らず据え出し、異常なしとの旨、嶋津喜太郎が参上して申し上げ、御用人から申し上げあり。右出火に付き、御側向熊谷小兵衛をはじめ一同御機嫌伺いに参上、この段申し上げる

1. After 9:30, a fire broke out from within the vacant room of the hawk quarters, only the hawk quarters burned down. However, a small portion of the western end was demolished.
