現代語訳
一、万治元年戌年三月、鳳翔院様の御供番に仰せ付けられた事。
一、寛文四年辰年五月、家督として御知行二百石を相違なく下され、外様組付に仰せ付けられ、赤羽仁右衛門組へ入り、御城の御番を相勤めた事。
一、同五年巳年五月、組頭赤羽仁右衛門が御役を免ぜられ、跡役の三宅孫兵衛組に移った事。
一、天和二年戌年十二月、組頭三宅孫兵衛が御役免となり、跡役の杉田五郎兵衛組に移った事。
一、元禄元年辰年十一月、御番代（隠居）の願いを申し上げたところ、五十一年間実直に相勤め、その上実父野崎大左衛門の旧功の訳けもお聞き召され、番代に及ばず直ちに隠居を仰せ付けられ、御褒美として時服を下され、栄寿院様の御広式へも折々参上するよう仰せ付けられ、栄寿院様も御懇意の義を仰せ出された事。
英語訳
1. In Manji 1, year of the dog, 3rd month, he was appointed to the guard duty for Hōshōin-sama.
1. In Kanbun 4, year of the dragon, 5th month, he inherited the family headship and was granted a fief of 200 koku without change, appointed to the tozama-gumi (outer vassals group), entered Akabane Niemon's unit, and served guard duty at the castle.
1. In the same 5th year, year of the snake, 5th month, when group leader Akabane Niemon was relieved of his duties, he was transferred to the unit of his successor Miyake Magobei.
1. In Tenna 2, year of the dog, 12th month, when group leader Miyake Magobei was relieved of his duties, he was transferred to the unit of his successor Sugita Gorobei.
1. In Genroku 1, year of the dragon, 11th month, when he petitioned for retirement from guard duty, [the lord] took into consideration that he had served faithfully for fifty-one years and moreover the past meritorious service of his biological father Nozaki Tazaemon. Without requiring a replacement, he was immediately granted retirement, given ceremonial clothing as a reward, ordered to occasionally attend Eijuin-sama's formal ceremonies, and Eijuin-sama also expressed words of special favor toward him.
