現代語訳
一、同（寛政元酉）年同月、良徳院様の御年男を仰せ付けられ、御祝儀として金二百疋を下し置かれ候事。
一、同月、上御屋敷の学館において格別の勤めを仰せ付けられ候ところ、精を出して相勤め候につき、講所料の内をもって費えを補うため、年々金一両ずつ下し置かれ候事。
一、同二戌年六月、御人少なき御場所において平日怠りなく精を出して相勤め、去る酉年まで三ヶ年、皆勤致し候につき、御褒美として良徳院様より銀子一枚を下し置かれ候事。
一、同年十二月、当務四年以来、引き通し精を出して相勤め候につき、良徳院様より御召し古麻御上下一具を下し置かれ候事。
一、同三亥年正月、願いの通り、学館取り締まり方の勤めを御免なされ候事。
一、同年八月、常詰御供番を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同五丑年四月、去る十月以来、皆勤し精を出し候段を仰せ付けられ候事。
英語訳
One: In the same month of the same first year of Kansei (1789, the year of the Rooster), he was appointed as *o-toshiotoko* (year-man/annual attendant) to Ryōtoku'in-sama, and was granted two hundred *hiki* in gold as a celebratory gift.
One: In the same month, he had been assigned to extraordinary duties at the academy hall (*gakkan*) of the upper residence (*kami o-yashiki*), and as he had served therein with great diligence, he was granted one *ryō* in gold annually from the lecture hall fund (*kōsho-ryō*) as a supplement for his expenses.
One: In the sixth month of the same second year of Kansei (1790, the year of the Dog), as he had served without negligence and with great diligence at a post that was short-staffed on a daily basis, and had achieved three consecutive years of perfect attendance (*kaikan*) through to the preceding year of the Rooster, he was granted one piece of silver (*ginsu ichimai*) as a reward from Ryōtoku'in-sama.
One: In the twelfth month of the same year, as he had continued to serve with diligence throughout the four years since his current appointment without interruption, he was granted one set of ceremonial *kamishimo* (*o-meshi furu-asa o-kamishimo hitokumi*) — a formal over-garment ensemble made of hemp cloth — from Ryōtoku'in-sama.
One: In the first month of the same third year of Kansei (1791, the year of the Boar), in accordance with his petition, he was relieved of his duties overseeing the administration (*shimari-kata*) of the academy hall.
One: In the eighth month of the same year, he was appointed to the *jōzume o-tomo-ban* (permanent attendant guard duty).
One: In the fourth month of the same fifth year of Kansei (1793, the year of the Ox), he was commended for having maintained perfect attendance and served with great diligence since the previous tenth month.
